Marinkovic Talks Cooperation with Representatives of Israeli Company

National Assembly Deputy Speaker Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic met today with Nissim Lachem and Aleksandar Nikolic, representatives of Gaon Group, to discuss expanding cooperation with Serbian companies.

Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic said that the Republic of Serbia has a great friend in Israel with which it shares an excellent cooperation on a number of levels. The 36-strong PFG with Israel he heads attests to the close friendship between the two countries Marinkovic opined that ties with Israel could be strengthened in the fields of tourism, new technologies and the economy. He added that Serbia keeps expanding its foreign investments and has become the leading business destination in the region.

Nissim Lachem explained that the Israeli company deals with infrastructure and business closely connected with infrastructural projects. The population in Israel is expanding and the climate for infrastructural projects is more than favourable. The representatives of Gaon Group said that the company is already doing business with several Serbian firms, sure that this number would expand further.

The host and guests agreed that there is room to improve cooperation which will happen in the near future because both sides have something to offer.
