Markovic Receives Delegation of NATO Defence College from Rome
The Deputy Chairman of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee Aleksandar Markovic received a delegation of the NATO Defence College from Rome at the National Assembly, to discuss the Committee’s remit and mode of operation, as well as current issues.
Markovic informed the guests about the scope of the Defence and Internal Affairs Committee, emphasising the importance of two institutes at its disposal important from the aspect of its control role – consideration of the ministries’ activity information and organisation of public hearings.
The members of the delegation of the NATO Defence College were also interested in Serbia’s military neutrality, current situation in Kosovo-Metohija, as well as the security risks and challenges related to the migrant crisis.
