National Assembly Chairman consults with chairpersons of deputies’ groups
Leaders of deputies’ groups at the Serbian Assembly met at the Assembly building today at 10 a.m. Head of the Serbian Radical Party deputies’ group, Tomislav Nikolic, did not attend the meeting; however, the Chairman of the National Assembly, Predrag Markovic, spoke to him on the telephone.

The meeting focused on resolving issues relating to the procedure for including initiatives for the impeachment of the President of Serbia, Boris Tadic, submitted by the Serbian Radical Party and the Socialist Party of Serbia in the agenda of the National Assembly’s session.
The meeting resulted in those present agreeing that the National Assembly would vote, before the beginning of the next session, on whether the initiative for the impeachment of the President should be included in the agenda under urgent procedure.
The Serbian Assembly is to continue discussing the Bill Modifying the Act on the Budget for 2004 in principle at 10 a.m. on Monday 18 October.
