National Assembly Chairman meets ambassadors of Austria and Portugal
The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, today held two separate meetings with the newly appointed Ambassador of Portugal, HE Mr Paolo da Silva and the outgoing Ambassador of Austria, HE Mr Hannes Porias.
The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, today held two separate meetings with the newly appointed Ambassador of Portugal, HE Mr Paolo da Silva and the outgoing Ambassador of Austria, HE Mr Hannes Porias.
In talks with the Portuguese ambassador, Mr Markovic stressed the need for improving cultural, economic and parliamentary co-operation between the two countries.
Meeting HE Mr Porias, Mr Markovic wished the Austrian Ambassador, whose term of office is expiring, success in his new post, and expressed gratitude for his co-operation and true friendship. Mr Markovic also expressed hope that successful co-operation between the two countries would continue in the future.
