National Assembly Deputy Speaker Attends Great School Lesson at Sumarice Memorial Park
The Deputy Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Vladimir Marinkovic, attended the Great School Lesson at Sumarice Memorial Park and honoured the victims of the World War II fascist occupiers by laying a wreath on the behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
Deputy Speaker Marinkovic emphasized the importance of the Great School Lesson, observed since 1957, for raising anti-fascist awareness and preventing the events of 1941-1945 from ever happening again anywhere in the world.
The Deputy Speaker also stressed that the Great School Lesson is an example of how to show respect to all innocent victims and demonstrate that the current and future generations would not forget the innocent victims of World War II.
