National Assembly Speaker Congratulates Christmas

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic congratulated Christmas to His Holiness, Serbian Patriarch Kyr Porfirije, the clergy of the Serbian Orthodox Church and to all the citizens celebrating Christmas according to the Julian Calendar:

“Your Holiness,

On behalf of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and my own behalf, allow me to congratulate the Day of Christ’s Birth to You, the clergy and all the faithful.

May this joyful holiday strengthen peace, solidarity and love among men, may it instil in us the strength to fight all the challenges that may befall us together, dedicated entirely to the well-being of our motherland and better future for all of its children.

Let us pray to the Lord to give us good health, well-being, joy, harmony to our people, and support You in Your divine service to the Serbian people.

Peace on Earth – Christ is born!”
