National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic Congratulates Easter

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic congratulated Easter to the Serbian Patriarch, Mr Porfirije, the priests and monks of the Serbian Orthodox Church and all the faithful.

"May this great day remind us that life always triumphs over death and imbue us with hope and strength to fight the troubles that still threaten the health and lives of our people. In the days of Easter, we must turn to unity and solidarity with our neighbours, because that is the only way we can live in contentment and dignity. I extend my warmest Easter wishes especially to our compatriots in Kosovo-Metohija, may they spend the days of the great holiday in peace with the hope for better days that we will all welcome together in harmony and care for each other," says National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic in his Easter greeting.
