National Assembly Speaker Meets with Argentine Ambassador to Serbia

Today, the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Ivica Dacic received the Ambassador of the Argentine Republic to the Republic of Serbia Osvaldo Narciso Mársico.

The officials stressed that the bilateral relations between the two countries are traditionally good, and should be developed further seeing how the two countries enjoy a firm friendship and share common values and consistently upheld principles, primarily those of sovereignty and territorial integrity. National Assembly Speaker Ivica Dacic once again thanked Argentina for the principled support on the issue of Kosovo-Metohija which it has always extended to Serbia at international forums.

The officials agreed that, though geographically distant, the two countries have ample potential to develop relations in a number of areas such as agriculture, energy, science and education. In that context they agreed to intensify the exchange of bilateral visits at all levels in the coming period.

They also discussed strengthening parliamentary relations and agreed to organize an exchange of visits of heads of parliament as soon as conditions allow.
