National Assembly Speaker Receives Indian Ambassador to Serbia
The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Maja Gojkovic received today the Indian Ambassador to Serbia Narinder Chauhan who informed the Speaker that India had allocated 100,000 USD as urgent relief for flood-stricken Serbia.
The National Assembly Speaker thanked the Ambassador for India’s help in recovering the damages suffered by Serbia.
“India’s help means a lot to our state at the time when it is about to launch into a renewal of the country after the previous days’ battle for human lives”, said Gojkovic.
Ambassador Chauhan offered the cooperation and expert technical assistance of India’s specialized services to rehabilitate the damages done to the country.
The officials also discussed improving parliamentary cooperation between the two countries and the relations between Serbia and India in the spheres of economy, science and culture, and the National Assembly Speaker presented the advantages of investing into Serbia, inviting Indian investors to invest into Serbia even more.
