National Assembly Speaker and Botsan-Kharchenko: We Appreciate Russia’s Principled Stance on Kosovo-Metohija

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic met with the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to the Republic of Serbia Alexander Botsan-Kharchenko to discuss a number of topics concerning bilateral cooperation.

Dr Orlic informed Ambassador Botsan-Kharchenko about the situation in Kosovo-Metohija, stressing that, despite Pristina’s irresponsible policies and unilateral moves, Serbia strives to preserve peace and stability in this part of Europe and remains committed to the full implementation of the agreements reached so far and respect for international law.

The Assembly Speaker thanked Russia for supporting the territorial integrity and sovereignty of the Republic of Serbia and the principled stance on Kosovo-Metohija.
