National Assembly internship programme completed
The fourth generation of student interns at the National Assembly today celebrated the completion of their internship.
The fourth generation of student interns at the National Assembly today celebrated the completion of their internship. The ten attendees of the internship programme’s second semester worked with Assembly Committees, at the Information Service and the Documentation and Information Service, and in the Office of the Chairman, which provided them with opportunities for getting to know all aspects of the Assembly’s activities. Committee secretaries acted as mentors to the interns.
The Chairman of the National Assembly, Predrag Markovic, presented the interns with diplomas, saying that now that it was only now, after getting an insight into the way Serbia’s highest legislative body functions, that they could form an opinion, but they should ‘also think about themselves, and believe that both elected individuals and institutions could do better and more’.
The best intern was selected, in line with the Programme’s tradition, and awarded the Lesser Medal of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia. The best intern for this year is Marijana Milankov, student of the Faculty of Philosophy, who worked with the Culture and Information Committee.
