Newly-Elected Judges Take Oath of Office in National Assembly

Judges elected to at the sessions of the High Judicial Council held on 12 October, 2 November and 16 November 2023, took the oath of office today before the President of the Supreme Court Jasmina Vasovic and the Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Dr Vladimir Orlic.

By the text of the oath the newly-elected judges swore to abide by the Constitution and laws and to perform their duty as best they know and can and serve only truth and justice.

The oath-taking ceremony was also attended by the President of the High Judicial Council Zorana Delibasic and member of the High Judicial Council SDezana Bjelogrlic.

The oath of office was taken by judges of the basic courts in

Subotica, Sremska Backa Palanka, Bor, Vrbas, Velika Plana, Jagodina, Kikinda, Kragujevac, Mionica, Novi Pazar, Paracin, Pancevo, Pirot, Subotica, Sjenica, Smederevo and Trstenik, judges of the misdemeanour courts in Backa Palanka, Zrenjanin, Zajecar, Jagodina, Kikinda, Kraljevo, Negotin, Pozega, Prijepolje, Raska, Subotica, Smederevo and Uzice, as well as judges of First Basic Court in Belgrade, Second Basic Court in Belgrade and Third Basic Court in Belgrade.
