In the ensuing discussion, the Committee members shared their displeasure at the fact that the Committee sitting was not attended by the Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija Aleksandar Vulin, saying that the discussion has very little to do with the submitted Report and that the Committee should discuss the establishment of an interim assembly in Kosovo-Metohija and the Kosovo Parliament’s refusal to pass the amnesty law instead. They also objected that the Report does not show what had been done, but rather just notes the existing situation.
The Chairman of the Committee on Kosovo-Metohija Milovan Drecun said that he would convey the Committee members’ complaints to Aleksandar Vulin and that the Committee members would discuss the policy on Kosovo only in the presence of the representatives of the executive.
The Committee decided to accept the Office for Kosovo-Metohija Activity Report for the period January-June 2013, by a majority of votes.
