Committee member Nada Lazic briefed the rest of the Committee on the Sustainable Development Goals, UN’s strategic document for the period to 2030 comprising 17 sustainable development goals and 169 targets. Lazic said that the Sustainable Development Goals include social and economic development with a view to environmental protection and enhancement, the achievement of which requires cooperation among the institutions.

The representatives of the network of NGOs who take part in the Committee’s work through the Green Chair mechanism then went on to share their views and suggestions.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairperson Ivana Stojiljkovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Milena Corilic, Nada Lazic, Vladimir Petkovic, Dejan Nikolic, Miletic Mihajlovic, Milos Boskovic, Radoslav Cokic, Jasmina Karanac, Ivana Nikolic, Milena Turk, Borka Grubor and Dusko Tarbuk.
