PFG with Cuba and Cuban Ambassador to Serbia Visit Book Museum in Vozdovac

The National Assembly’s Parliamentary Friendship Group with Cuba, headed by Prof. Dr Ljubisa Stojmirovic, and Cuban Ambassador to Serbia, H.E. Gustavo Trista del Todo visited “Adligat” Book Museum in the Municipality of Vozdovac.

The MPs and the Ambassador had the opportunity to view books, legates, pictures and collections exhibited in 12 rooms covering over a thousand square metres. PFG members Prof. Dr Ljubisa Stojmirovic and Vuk Mircetic have so far donated several hundreds of books to the Museum.

The visitors had the opportunity to view rare and first editions of Serbian authors, books on bamboo sticks, an edible book made of rice, book printed on highest quality silk, a collection of several hundred of miniature books, the smallest of which a mere 3.5 mm, books with carved wooden covers and more than 300 books written in the 1800s.
