PFG with Russia Meets with Russian Federation Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area – Ygra Delegation

Member of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with Russia Draginja Vlk and PFG members Zagorka Aleksic and Dubravka Kralj met with a delegation of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Ygra of the Russian Federation.

Vlk pointed to the traditionally good relations between Serbia and Russia, adding that the 102-strong PFG with Russia is one of the largest groups in the National Assembly. She stressed that there is room to improve cooperation in all areas, not only at the level of states, but at the regional level as well.

PFG members Zagorka Aleksic and Dubravka Kralj thanked their guests for Russia's principled position on the Kosovo-Metohija issue and the support for Serbia’s territorial integrity and sovereignty.

The meeting focused on the possibilities and importance of connecting the young people of Serbia and Russia at the regional level, through various projects and initiatives. They emphasised the importance of networking between women leaders at the international and regional level.

In the course of the meeting, the delegation of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Area - Ygra invited the PFG with Russia to take part in the forum on Women's Issues, on 17 and 18 November in the city of Khanty-Mansiysk.
