SEECP PA Plenary Session

Under the auspices of the Croatian chairmanship of the South East Europe Cooperation Process (SEECP), Zagreb is to host the SEECP Parliamentary Assembly Plenary Session 8-10 June 2017. National Assembly Deputy Speaker Gordana Comic and the member of the National Assembly standing delegation to SEECP PA Ljupka Mihajlovska will be taking part in the Plenary Session in Zagreb.


Two meetings of the Standing Committee and meetings of the three general committees: on Economy, Infrastructure and Energy; on Justice, Home Affairs and Security Cooperation; and on Social Development, Education, Research and Science, will precede the Plenary Session. The committee members will consider and adopt the Parliamentary Assembly 2017/2018 Work Programme, draft and adopt the final declaration and ratify the resolutions and reports adopted at previous general committee meetings.

The Plenary is expected to be attended by the speakers and deputy speakers of all the parliaments in the region participating in the South East Europe Cooperation Process, when the Parliamentary Assembly is to adopt the Final Declaration and next year’s work plan, and the regional delegations will exchange views on and proposals how to intensify regional cooperation, foster stronger ties in the region, communication and support on the path to European integration. After the Plenary, Slovenia will take over the chairmanship of the South East Europe Cooperation Process Parliamentary Assembly.
