Second Sitting of the Environmental Protection Committee
At the sitting held on 18 September, the members of the Environmental Protection Committee considered and adopted, in principle, the Bill amending the Law on Ionizing Radiation Protection and Nuclear Safety, Bill on the Expiry of the Law on the Environmental Protection Fund, as well as the Bill amending the Law on Chemicals.
The representatives of the Ministry of Energy, Development and Environmental Protection stated that the foundation of an Institute for Nuclear Safety and Security is being planned, which would deal with environmental issues.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairperson, Milica Vojic Markovic.
