Second Sitting of the European Integration Committee
At the sitting held on 10 May, the European Integration Committee discussed and adopted the Bill on Civil Procedure and the Bill on Mediation in Dispute Resolution, in principle.
The Committee members discussed the Report on the initialling of the Protocol accompanying the Stabilisation and Association Agreement between the European Communities and their Member States of the one part and the Republic of Serbia of the other part, on the accession of the Republic of Croatia to the European Union and consented to its temporary application.
Representatives of the Ministry of Agriculture and Environmental Protection and the Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications spoke about the Report.
The Committee established the composition of the delegation for the 9th Conference of the European Integration Parliamentary Committees of States Participating in the Stabilization and Association Process in South-East Europe (COSAP) in Budva, 2-3 June 2014. The delegation will comprise MPs Natasa Vuckovic, Prof. Dr Ljubisa Stojmirovic and Vera Paunovic.
The Committee went on to establish the composition of the delegation for the 51st Conference of Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs of Parliaments of the European Union (COSAC) in Athens, 15-17 June 2014, which will comprise Aleksandar Senic, Dr Ivan Bauer and Biljana Pantic Pilja.
The Committee sitting was also attended by representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the European Integration Office.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Aleksandar Senic.
