The Legislative Committee held a sitting on 20 November where it considered the Bill on Determining the Jurisdiction of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, submitted by the Government and the revised text of the Proposal of the Statute of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, submitted by the Assembly of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina.

Following the discussion, the Committee decided, with one reserved opinion, to forward to the National Assembly the opinion that both the documents adhere to the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee discussed the Proposal of the Decision granting consent to the revised text of the Proposal of the Statute of the Autonomous Province of Vojvodina, submitted by the Constitutional Issues Committee and established the opinion that the Decision Proposal adheres to the Constitution and legal system of the Republic of Serbia.

At the sitting, the Committee established the opinion that the Bill amending and modifying the Republic of Serbia 2009 Budget Law, submitted on 12 November 2009 by a group of 21 deputies, had not been submitted by an authorised submitter, because the National Assembly adopts the budget i.e. budget rebalance at the proposal of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.
