At the sitting held on 25 March, the Administrative Committee considered the grounds for termination of term of office of deputy Milan Djokic and unanimously decided to propose that the National Assembly note the termination of the deputy’s term of office.

The Committee went on to consider the memo of the representative of the Republic of Serbia before the European Court of Human Rights – petition Goran Paunovic and Ksenija Milivojevic against the Republic of Serbia. The RS representative before the European Court of Human Rights - Assistant Minister of Human and Minority Rights Dr Slavoljub Caric briefed the Administrative Committee members on the arguments regarding the case and pointed out a similar case from the practice of the European Court of Human Rights. Caric stated that Serbia has two options – plead its case before the European Court of Human Rights or settle with the petitioners.

The Committee members exchanged opinions on the case and agreed that the Committee should consider the issue again and take a position on it in one of the next sittings.
