Marinkovic told the students and professors that the doors of the National Assembly House, as the house of all the citizens, are always open for them and asked them to help improve the education system which is the very base for the development of the country.

“I believe that the Government and the National Assembly have done a great deal to advance education. We will continue to follow that path because it is one of our strategic goals to provide the young people with the best political and economic environment to develop their careers and families in their own country”, said Marinkovic.

The attending were also addressed by Minister of Education, Science and Technological Development Mladen Sarcevic who announced a series of amendments to the existing and adoption of new laws aimed at advancing education and student standards, with a special focus on the financing of studies.

Following the address of the representative of the National Council for Higher Education and the President of the Conference of Academies for Applied Studies, the best students and professors were presented with awards.
