The Committee members passed a Decision on the establishment of a Subcommittee to monitor the recovery of damages caused by flooding to villages, agriculture, forestry and water management. The following MPs were elected Subcommittee members: Milan Kovacevic, Chairman, Milija Miletic, Deputy, Velimir Stanojevic, member, Dusan Petrovic, member, Miodrag Nikolic, member.
The Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee also passed a Decision on the establishment of a Working Group to process proposals and initiatives which would comprise the following Committee members: Miodrag Nikolic, Chairman, Jasmina Obradovic, Deputy, Velimir Stanojevic, member, Arpad Fremond, member, Goran Ciric, member.

Under item Any other business the Committee Chairman drew attention to the many letters of support from international veterinary organisations and recommended that the Committee members act as a liaison between local veterinary services and international veterinary organisations which could offer support in the rehabilitation of damages in the affected areas.

The Committee members suggested inviting, to the future sittings of the Agriculture, Forestry and Water Management Committee, five representatives of vocational agricultural associations proportionate to regional orientation, who would follow the Committee sittings as guests.

At the end of the sitting, the Committee Chairman informed the members that on Saturday, 24 May, a voluntary visit would be organised to the areas affected by the catastrophic floods.
