The Committee on Relations with Serbs Living Outside Serbia held its thirteenth sitting on 14 December 2009. The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman Branimir Djokic.

The Committee debated and adopted the Framework Plan of Visits of the members of the Committee on Relations with Serbs Living Outside Serbia of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia to the diaspora in 2010, which envisages the Committee visiting Serbian associations in Croatia, Montenegro, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Macedonia, Albania, Romania, Italy, Slovenia, Hungary and Austria.

The Committee members went on to consider the request of the Serbian Emigrant Society for possibly finding a solution to finance the Society from the 2010 Budget of the Government of the Republic of Serbia.

The Committee unanimously agreed to endorse the amendment submitted by deputy and member of the Committee on Relations with Serbs Living Outside Serbia Janko Veselinovic to article 7, Section 26 Ministry of the Diaspora, Function 410 General economic and commercial affairs and labour affairs, Economic Classification 481 Grants to non-governmental organisations, as well as to discuss the possibilities of financing the SES at the next sitting, in order to enable its uninterrupted operation and realisation of its projects.
