At the sitting held on 29 February, the Administrative Committee considered the Request of the District Public Prosecutor’s Office in Pozarevac to approve the remand in custody of Dragan Lazic, District Public Prosecutor in Zrenjanin. The sitting was chaired by Dragan Todorovic.

After a shorter discussion, the Administrative Committee decided to propose that the National Assembly bring the Decision to approve the remand in custody of Dragan Lazic, District Public Prosecutor in Zrenjanin in the Criminal procedure Kt 44/80 for the reasonable suspicion that he committed the crime of accepting bribe (article 367 of the Criminal Law) while performing his function as prosecutor.

The Committee also proposed that the Serbian National Assembly urgently discuss the Proposal of the Decision in line with articles 160 and 161 of the National Assembly’s Rules of Procedure.
