Twenty-Ninth Sitting of the Administrative Committee
At the sitting held on 16 December, the Administrative Committee considered the resignation deputy Jagoda Jorga had tendered to the post of deputy.
At the sitting held on 16 December, the Administrative Committee considered the resignation deputy Jagoda Jorga had tendered to the post of deputy. The Committee ascertained that deputy Jagoda Jorga, elected from the electoral list For European Serbia – Boris Tadic, tendering resignation to the post of deputy falls under article 88, paragraph 1 item 2 of the Law on the Election of Deputies, which lists tendering resignation as one of the reasons for the expiration of a deputy’s mandate before the end of the term they were elected for.
The Committee proposed that, in line with article 88 paragraphs 2 and 3 of the Law, the National Assembly acknowledge the termination of said deputy’s mandate and assign the mandate to another candidate from the same deputy list.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Deputy Chairman, Nenad Konstantinovic.
