Twenty-Sixth Sitting of the Legislative Committee
At the sitting held on 26 December, the Legislative Committee commenced a discussion on the amendments to the Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2009, with its accompanying Memorandum on the Budget and Economic and Fiscal Policy for 2009, projections for 2010 and 2011 and proposals of decisions granting consent to financial plans for 2009 of the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Employees, the Republic Health Insurance Agency and the National Employment Service, submitted by the Government.
At the sitting held on 26 December, the Legislative Committee commenced a discussion on the amendments to the Bill on the Budget of the Republic of Serbia for 2009, with its accompanying Memorandum on the Budget and Economic and Fiscal Policy for 2009, projections for 2010 and 2011 and proposals of decisions granting consent to financial plans for 2009 of the Republic Fund for Pension and Disability Insurance of Employees, the Republic Health Insurance Agency and the National Employment Service, submitted by the Government.
The Committee discussed the 61 amendments submitted to the first five articles of the Bill by the deputies and the Government. The Committee members unanimously deemed 54 of the amendments legally feasible, while seven amendments were deemed not legally feasible i.e. not in line with the Budget System Law.
The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Vlatko Ratkovic.
