Two Student Parliaments Visit National Assembly

The visit was organised by the Office for communication between the deputies and the public which shall, according to plan, organise visits for all the student parliaments in
Addressing the students, deputy Nenad Konstantinovic said that visits by student parliaments are the occasion for the youth to become familiar with the work of the National Assembly which, he believes, has not been properly presented to the public. He believes that high-school and university students should launch an initiative and take part in the functioning of their educational institutions, as well as influence the work of the ministries and the state with their suggestions and proposals.
The students were mostly interested in the procedure for passing laws, as well as the deputies’ salaries, who, according to Konstantinovic earn 75 thousand RSD a month.
