10th Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 25 October 2022, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues reviewed the resignations tendered to the post of MP by Milan Krkobabic, Goran Vesic, Dr Aleksandar Martinovic, Prof. Dr Danica Grujicic, Doc. Dr Sci. med Marija Zdravkovic, Ivica Dacic, Rade Basta, Novica Toncev, Djordje Milicevic, Tomislav Zigmanov and Sanja Vukovic–Ivancevic.

The Committee ascertained that said situation falls under Article 131, paragraph 2, item 6 of the Law on Election of MPs according to which resignation is listed as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office before the expiry of the term they were elected for, and proposed that the National Assembly note the termination of the abovementioned MPs’ terms of office.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milenko Jovanov, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Dr Ugljesa Mrdic, Djordje Komlenski, Aleksandar Mirkovic, Slavisa Ristic, Dragana Rakic, Miroslav Aleksic, Ana Miljanic, Aleksandar Markovic, Sanja Maric, Dunja Simonovic Bratic, Veroljub Matic, Sandra Bozic and Zivota Starcevic.
