12th Sitting of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government

At the sitting held on 18 March 2023, the members of the Committee on the Judiciary, Public Administration and Local Self-Government established the proposal of candidates for the first election of members of the High Judicial Council elected by the National Assembly and the proposal of candidates for the first election of members of the High Prosecutorial Council elected by the National Assembly.

In accordance with the established proposal of candidates for the first election of members of the High Judicial Council elected by the National Assembly, the following six candidates were elected: Jelena Vuckovic from Nis, Nikola Bodiroga from Belgrade, Marina Grbic from Belgrade, Rastko Brajkovic from Belgrade, Aleksandar Popovic from Belgrade and Srdjan Stefanovic from Belgrade.

For the first election of members of the High Prosecutorial Council elected by the National Assembly, the following seven candidates were elected: Miroslav Djordjevic from Belgrade, Predrag Cetkovic from Novi Sad, Vesna Lukovic from Novi Pazar, Vladimir Simic from Belgrade, Nenad Tesic from New Belgrade, Jelena Glusica from Belgrade and Bojan Petrovic from Belgrade.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Vladimir Djukanovic and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Svetozar Vujacic, Dijana Radovic, Dubravka Kralj, Bratimir Vasiljevic, Djordje Komlenski, Dragan Jovanovic, Zombor Ujvari, Andrijana Vasic, Vladimir Gajic, Jovan Palalic, Miodrag Gavrilovic, Dejan Sulkic, Prof. Dr Djordje Pavicevic, Ilo Mihajlovski, Jelena Milosevic  and MP Prof. Dr Tamara Milenkovic Kerkovic.
