14th Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 18 May 2023, the members of the Foreign Affairs Committee considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Gabon on Visa Abolition for Diplomatic and Service Passport Holders, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea on Visa Abolition for Diplomatic and Service Passport Holders and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Azerbaijan on Mutual Visa Abolition for Holders of Ordinary Passports, all submitted by the Government.

Following the presentation of the agreements by representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs Vladimir Cvetkovic, the Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept all the bills.

The Committee went on to adopt initiatives for visits, noted the standing delegations’ regular activities, adopted reports on visits realised, as well as noted the realised parliamentary and other contacts.

The Committee also noted the changes in the composition of the parliamentary friendship groups with Austria, Belarus, Bulgaria, Brazil, Greece, Denmark, Egypt, Israel, Italy, Japan, Cyprus, Germany, Palestine, Romania, Russia, North Macedonia, the US, Slovenia, Turkey, the Netherlands, Switzerland and Sweden.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Borko Stefanovic, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Haji Milorad Stosic, Dr Djordje Miketic, Draginja Vlk, Ana Miljanic, Dubravka Filipovski, Dunja Bratic Simonovic, Usame Zukorlic, Natasa Jovanovic, Zoltan Dani, Marina Ragus, Nemanja Joksimovic and Tamara Pilipovic.
