19th Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the held on 31 October 2024, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues ascertained the Proposal of the 2025 Assembly Budget prepared by the National Assembly Secretary General.

The Proposal of the 2025 Assembly Budget was presented by the Secretary General of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia Srdjan Smiljanic who said that the National Assembly costs and expenses for 2025 were set at 3,212,418,000 RSD.

He said that the new National Assembly legislature brought with it new needs and different expenses. As an example, Smiljanic mentioned that the new National Assembly legislature has 102 full time MPs which is less than the previous, therefore the National Assembly’s needs have also changed.

The Committee adopted the Proposal of the 2025 Assembly Budget by majority vote, which is now to be sent to the Ministry of Finance.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milenko Jovanov, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Bojan Torbica, Jelena Milosevic, Dr Dragana Rakic, Goran Milic, Stefan Janjic, Igor Jaksic, Milenko Jovanov, Branimir Jovanovic, Olja Petrovic, Dane Stanojcic, Snezana Jovanovic, Prof. Dr Miloljub Albijanic, Snezana Paunovic and Stefan Kitanovic.
