47th Sitting of the Culture and Information Committee
At the sitting held on 1 March, the members of the Culture and Information Committee reviewed the proposal to withdraw item 9 from the agenda of the First Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2016: Candidate List for the election of a member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media, submitted by the Culture and Information Committee of the National Assembly.
At the proposal of Committee member Dusica Stojkovic, the Culture and Information Committee decided to propose that the National Assembly withdraw item 9 from the agenda of the First Sitting of the First Regular Session of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia in 2016, in line with Article 159, paragraph 2 and Article 193 of the National Assembly Rules of Procedure, since the National Assembly, in the course of the sitting in progress, did not accept the motion to review the Candidate List for the election of a member of the Council of the Regulatory Authority for Electronic Media, submitted by the Culture and Information Committee of the National Assembly, by urgent procedure.
The sitting was chaired by Committee Deputy Chairman Aleksandar Jugovic, and was attended by Committee members Milena Turk, Sasa Maksimovic, Nenad Nikolic, Nebojsa Tatomir, Mirjana Andric, Milorad Cvetanovic, Dusica Stojkovic, Milena Bicanin, Sanja Nikolic and Branka Karavidic.
