Gojkovic Congratulates Novi Sad on Being Declared European Capital of Culture

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and Chairperson of the Culture and Information Committee Maja Gojkovic congratulated the City of Novi Sad being declared European Capital of Culture for 2021 to the Mayor Milos Vucevic, the team that worked tirelessly on this most important project and the people of Novi Sad.


“Congratulations to Novi Sad on its well-deserved title of European Capital of Culture, also a historic one since Novi Sad is the first non-EU city to receive this prestigious recognition. This is also an opportunity for Novi Sad, a city of rich cultural tradition, open to all, to show Europe and the world its love of and dedication to culture.”
