Gojkovic Sends Telegram of Condolences on Death of Mira Stupica

The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia and Chairperson of the Culture and Information Committee Maja Gojkovic sent a telegram of condolences to the family and the Yugoslav Drama Theatre on the death of one of the greatest actresses, Mira Stupica.


“It was with deep sadness that we received the news of Mira’s death whose decades of work in the theatre, film and television left an indelible mark, and Mira’s departure is a big loss for the whole cultural scene which owes a great deal to her roles and opus. On the behalf of the National Assembly and myself, please accept our most profound condolences.”
