National Assembly Speaker Receives Newly-Appointed Slovak Ambassador


The Speaker of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic received the newly-appointed Slovak Ambassador, H.E. Jan Varso.

Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic thanked Slovakia for its support of Serbia’s European road as well as its respect of our country’s territorial integrity. The Slovak Ambassador, Jan Varso emphasised his country’s readiness to share its experiences of Euro-integration with Serbia, as well as the wish that Western Balkans be stable and prosperous.

National Assembly Speaker Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic stressed the Assembly’s activities as regards harmonisation between the domestic and European legislation.

The officials declared their readiness to work on strengthening parliamentary cooperation. In that context, Djukic-Dejanovic stated that the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia boasts a Friendship Group with Slovakia.
