Ninth Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee

At the sitting held on 4 February 2023, the members of the Foreign Affairs Committee considered the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh on Visa Abolition for Diplomatic and Service Passport Holders, Bill on the Confirmation of the Memorandum of Understanding between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Arab Republic of Egypt on Mutual Visa Abolition for Diplomatic, Service and Special Passport Holders, Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Angola on Mutual Visa Abolition for Diplomatic and Service Passport Holders, and the Bill on the Confirmation of the Agreement between the Government of the Republic of Serbia and the Government of the Republic of Senegal on Visa Abolition for Diplomatic and Service Passport Holders, all submitted by the Government.

The Committee proposed that the National Assembly accept all the bills.

The Committee members also adopted reports on visits realised, as well as noted the realised parliamentary and other contacts.

The Committee then noted the changes in the composition of the parliamentary friendship groups with Albania, Australia, Argentina, Algeria, Belgium, Bahrein, Belarus, Burundi, the UK, Greece, Gabonese Republic, Denmark, Dominican Republic, India, Indonesia, Israel, Iran, Italy, Ireland, Japan, South African Republic, Canada, Kenia, China, Cyprus, Cuba, Kuwait, Luxembourg, Hungary, Malawi, Morocco, Moldova, Germany, Norway, Palestine, Panama, Poland, Republic of Korea, Romania, Russia, the Holy See, the United States of America, North Macedonia, Slovakia, Tunisia, Turkey, Slovenia, France, the Netherlands, Croatia, Ukraine, the UAE and Montenegro.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Deputy Chairperson Marina Ragus, and attended by the following Committee members and deputy members: Haji Milorad Stosic, Dr Djordje Miketic, Djordje Komlenski, Draginja Vlk, Dunja Bratic Simonovic, Dubravka Filipovski, Ksenija Markovic, Biljana Pantic Pilja, Nemanja Joksimovic, Stefan Jovanovic, Natasa Jovanovic, Zoltan Dani and Elvira Kovacs.
