Second Sitting of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues

At the sitting held on 1 April 20, the members of the Committee on Administrative, Budgetary, Mandate and Immunity Issues considered the resignations tendered to the post of MP by Marija Vojinovic, Slavica Skrbic, Nikola Selakovic, Milos Vucevic and Predrag Bandic.

The Committee Chairman ascertained that the situation falls under Article 131, paragraph 2, item 6 of the Law on Election of MPs which lists resignation as a reason for the termination of an MP’s term of office and proposed that the National Assembly note the termination of the terms of office of said MPs.

The Committee also granted the Committee Chairman the authority to pass certificates concerning the exercise of status and material rights of MPs and functionaries elected and appointed by the National Assembly.

These certificates adopted by the National Assembly Secretary General in line with article 64, paragraph 4 of the Law on the National Assembly, were verified at the sitting.

The Committee members then considered the request submitted by MP Haji Milorad Stosic and adopted the certificate allowing him to exercise the right to monthly cost compensation for apartment lease in Belgrade and the certificate allowing him to exercise the right to compensation for living separately from his family, as well as the request submitted by MP Sobodan Ilic and adopted the certificate allowing him to exercise the right to monthly cost compensation for apartment lease in Belgrade.

The Committee members also considered the proposal of the National Assembly Speaker and adopted the Certificate on the appointment of Milos Popovic to the post of National Assembly Chief-of-Staff.

The sitting was chaired by Committee Chairman Milenko Jovanov.
