Sixteenth Sitting of the Committee on Justice and Administration

At the sitting held on 29 December 2008, the Committee on Justice and Administration discussed the Bill modifying the Criminal Procedure Code, submitted by the Government, in principle.



At the sitting held on 29 December 2008, the Committee on Justice and Administration discussed the Bill modifying the Criminal Procedure Code, submitted by the Government, in principle. The Committee proposed that the National Assembly adopt the Bill in principle.

At the sitting, the Committee set the Collective candidate list for the Anti-Corruption Agency Board members. Previously the Committee noted that all the nominees fulfilled the legal requirements. The Committee proposed that the National Assembly elect the Anti-Corruption Agency Board members. The National Assembly will vote individually on each candidate, with the following exception: out of the two candidates nominated by the Serbian Supreme Court, the one who receives more votes will be elected.

The sitting was chaired by the Committee Chairman, Bosko Ristic.
