Third Sitting of the Committee on Kosovo-Metohija

On 10 April 2023, the Committee on Kosovo-Metohija held a sitting closed to the public, to consider the Office for Kosovo-Metohija Activity Report for the period January-December 2022.

The Committee members and their deputies attending the sitting unanimously accepted the Report.

The Report was presented by Dr Petar Petkovic, Director of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija, who briefed the Committee in detail on the process of the dialogue in Brussels.

Deputy and assistant directors of the Office for Kosovo-Metohija also took part in the sitting.

The Committee members present at the sitting unanimously denounced the incident caused for no objective reason by the members and deputy members from opposition parties by leaving the Committee sitting.

Their politically irresponsible behaviour, completely opposite to the National Assembly Rules of Procedure which precisely regulate the work and sittings of the committees, shows that the incident was caused intentionally to prevent the Committee from holding the sitting which has the highly important Office for Kosovo-Metohija Activity Report on the agenda, as well as the process of the dialogue in Brussels.
