European Integration Committee Delegation Takes Part in Meeting of COSAC Chairpersons
A delegation of the European Integration Committee is taking part in the meeting of the Chairpersons of the Conference Parliamentary Committees for Union Affairs of Parliaments of the European Union - COSAC which is taking place on 9 and 10 July 2017 in Tallinn, Estonia, under the auspices of the Estonian presidency of the European Union Council.

Romania to Speed Up Serbia's European Integration Process During its EU Council Presidency
During its presidency of the EU Council, Romania would work on speeding up Serbia's European integration process and Serbia should also use the presidency of its two neighbours, Bulgaria and Austria, to further its cause, said the Chairman of the Romanian Chamber of Deputies' Committee on European Affairs Victor Ponta to his colleagues of the National Assembly's European Integration Committee.

20th Sitting of the European Integration Committee
“At the sitting held on 1 June 2017 and closed to the public, the European Integration Committee considered and gave a positive opinion to the Proposal of the Negotiating Position of the Republic of Serbia for the Intergovernmental Conference on the Accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union Chapter 6 – Company law and to the Proposal of the Negotiating Position of the Republic of Serbia for the Intergovernmental Conference on the Accession of the Republic of Serbia to the European Union Chapter 33 – Financial and budgetary provisions.”

The delegation is to comprise Elvira Kovacs, Gordana Comic and Dusica Stojkovic.

16th Sitting of the European Integration Committee
At the sitting held on 10 April the members of the European Integration Committee considered the Report on the Republic of Serbia’s EU accession talks during the Presidency of the Slovak Republic, July-December 2016, submitted by the Government, and the Report on the Republic of Serbia’s EU accession talks for the period January-March 2017. The reports were presented by Tanja Miscevic, Head of Serbia’s EU Negotiating Team.

Ukrainian Ambassador to Serbia Visits European Integration Committee
Today, the members of the European Integration Committee Zarko Micin and Dr Muamer Bacevac received the Ukrainian Ambassador to Serbia, H.E. Oleksandr Aleksandrovych, to discuss the European Integration Committee members’ visit to Ukraine and the improvement of the bilateral and economic cooperation, as well as trade between Serbia and Ukraine.
