Tenth Sitting of the European Integrations Committee
At the sitting held on 25 February, the European Integrations Committee members adopted the Government’s Report on the implementation of the National Programme for the Integration of the Republic of Serbia into the European Union for the period July-December 2008. At the sitting of the European Integrations Committee held on 13 November, the Deputy Prime Minister of the Government of Serbia in charge of European integration, Bozidar Djelic informed the Committee members on the planned and fulfilled obligations and on the realisation of all the programmes and other activities necessary to speed up Serbia’s process of accession to the European Union.

First Sitting of the European Integrations Committee
The European Integrations Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia held its first sitting on 15 July, convened under article 26 of the Rules of Procedure of the National Assembly by the Speaker of the National Assembly, Prof. Dr Slavica Djukic-Dejanovic. Until the election of the Chairman, the sitting was chaired by the oldest Committee member, deputy Momir Markovic.
