Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society Committee Chairman Visits Lithuanian Parliament
At the invitation of the Speaker of the Lithuanian Parliament (Seimas), Vydas Gedvilas, the Chairman of the Committee on Education, Science, Technological Development and the Information Society, Prof. Dr Miodrag Stojkovic will be attending the meeting of the chairs of the Lithuanian Parliament’s Committee on Education, Science and Culture and the Committee on the Development of Information Society.

UK House of Lords Speaker Visits National Assembly
Lord Speaker of the UK House of Lords, Baroness Frances D’Souza, visited the National Assembly today, where she met, separately, with the members of several committees, as well as the members of the Parliamentary Friendship Group with the UK and the Women’s Parliamentary Network.

24th Sitting of the Foreign Affairs Committee
At the sitting held on 20 September, the members of the Foreign Affairs Committee conducted an interview with Miodrag Nikolin, newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia to the Republic of the Union of Myanmar, and Zoran Popovic, the newly-appointed Ambassador of the Republic of Serbia – resident representative of the Republic of Serbia to the Council of Europe in Strasbourg, before their deployment to diplomatic duty.

National Assembly Delegation at Parliamentary Seminar in Skopje
A delegation of the National Assembly will be taking part in the parliamentary seminar to be held on 23 and 24 September in Skopje with the topic Transparency of Parliamentary Activities, organised by the European Parliament – Pre-Accession Activity Department of the Democratic Support Directorate of the Foreign Policy Directorate General, as part of the Support Programme for parliaments in the Western Balkans and Turkey.
