Birth of a law

How is a law promulgated?

Once a law is adopted, the National Assembly forwards it to the President of the Republic who issues a decree on promulgation within a period of fifteen days from the day of adoption. If the law was adopted by urgent procedure, this must be done within a period of seven days.
