56th sitting of the Privatisation Committee
At its sitting held on 13 March 2006 the Privatisation Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia endorsed the Report of the Ministry of the Economy on activities of the Privatisation Agency for February 2006, along with the Programme of Activities of the Privatisation Agency for March 2006.The sitting also saw the endorsement of the Report of the Ministry of the Economy on activities of the Share Fund of the Republic of Serbia, and the Report on activities of the Central Securities Registry, Depository and Clearing for February 2006.Committee members discussed issues cited by the Share Fund in its report of 23 January.

At its sitting held on 10 March 2006, the Committee on Relations with Serbs Living Outside Serbia discussed and endorsed the Activity Report of the Ministry of the Diaspora for the period June – December 2005, and the Ministry’s Activity Plan for the first half of 2006.The Report and Plan were presented by the Minister of the Diaspora in the Government of the Republic of Serbia, Vojislav Vukcevic.

DONORS’ CONFERENCE TO FOSTER DEVELOPMENT OF FLOOD-STRICKEN MUNICIPALITIES
The Poverty Reduction Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia is organising a Donors’ Conference to present proposals of 17 projects intended to foster economic development in the 9 flood-stricken municipalities in the Banat region of Vojvodina, and southern Serbia.

At the sitting of the Youth and Sports Committee of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia held on 7 March 2006, the assistant head of the Sports Directorate of the Ministry of Education and Sports, Dragan Atanasov, presented the Directorate’s 2005 Activity Report and its Plan of Activities for 2006. Committee members unanimously adopted the Report and the Plan of Activities.
