Second Sitting of the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues
At the sitting held on 3 October, the Committee on Constitutional and Legislative Issues deliberated, in principle, on the Bill amending the Law on Financing Local Self-Governments, submitted by the Serbian Government. The agenda for the sitting was also expanded to include one additional item - Proposal to pass an authentic interpretation of the provision of Article 6 of the Law on acquiring ownership rights of the grounds, facilities and lines of the joint stock company for the production and processing of steel Zelezara Smederevo d.o.o. Smederevo, submitted by MP Dr Aleksandar Martinovic.

Historic Day for Serbs in Slovenia – National Council of Serbs in Slovenia Founded
The Chairman of the Committee on the Diaspora and Serbs in the Region MA Ivan Kostic and Committee member Jadranka Jovanovic attended the founding assembly of the National Council of Serbs in Slovenia and endorsed the foundation of the umbrella organisation of Serbs in the country on the behalf of the Committee and the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia.
