Assembly Chairman attends memorial in honour of 190th anniversary of Second Serbian Insurrection
On Sunday, 25 April 2005, the Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, attended a memorial event to honour the 190th anniversary of the Second Serbian Insurrection, on which occasion he laid a wreath at the Takovo Monument.

National Assembly Chairman meets ambassadors of Austria and Portugal
The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, today held two separate meetings with the newly appointed Ambassador of Portugal, HE Mr Paolo da Silva and the outgoing Ambassador of Austria, HE Mr Hannes Porias.

National Assembly Chairman meets Bavarian Landtag Delegation
The Chairman of the National Assembly of the Republic of Serbia, Predrag Markovic, today met a delegation of the Landtag, or assembly, of the German province of Bavaria, which took part in a two-day conference on European perspectives of co-operation between the Federal Republic of Germany and Serbia and Montenegro.

National Assembly Chairman consults with chairpersons of deputies’ groups
Leaders of deputies’ groups at the Serbian Assembly met at the Assembly building today at 10 a.m. Head of the Serbian Radical Party deputies’ group, Tomislav Nikolic, did not attend the meeting; however, the Chairman of the National Assembly, Predrag Markovic, spoke to him on the telephone.

Assembly Chairman Markovic on an official visit to Hungary
